Why Pigeons are a Problem?

Our Pigeon Trapping System

  • Step 1: Pre-Baiting
    • We will visit your location to assess the situation and identify the best places to set traps. We will then place bait in these locations and set up cameras to monitor feeding activity. This step can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks.

  • Step 2: Trap Placement
    • Once the flock is regularly feeding at the baited trap locations, we will place traps over the bait. The trap doors will be open, allowing pigeons to enter and exit the traps freely. This will help them become comfortable with the traps. This step can take anywhere from a few days to a week.
  • Step 3: Trapping
    • Once pigeons are regularly feeding in the traps, we will close the trap doors so that pigeons are trapped upon entering.
  • Step 4: Monthly Contract Trapping
    • We will continue to monitor traps remotely and remove trapped pigeons as needed. Our monthly trapping program includes multiple site visits per week to remove trapped pigeons and re-bait traps.

Ongoing Maintenance

Trapping is not a one-time solution for pigeon problems. While we will remove as many pigeons as possible, new pigeons from nearby areas may move in. Our goal is to reduce the overall number of pigeons at your location. Pigeon trapping should be viewed as ongoing maintenance to keep the pigeon population in check and minimize any issues they may cause.

We offer 3, 6, and 12-month trapping programs. We require a 3-month trapping program as a minimum and recommend year-round trapping in areas with large pigeon populations.
